"Together for Tomorrow"

To launch a new year of fundraising for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital in the Midlands, USC Dance Marathon held its annual “Campaign Reveal” on Tuesday, Sept. 10, a sacred tradition for those in the organization. A campaign represents an underlying theme that sets the tone for the months ahead. This year, the importance of strength in numbers will remain evident in the actions taken by each member at every step of their fundraising journey.
For its 27th year on campus, USCDM will stand “Together For Tomorrow.” This notion represents how members bring together the community to raise funds and awareness for Prisma’s Child Life Program. From its internal staff to minis, sponsors, miracle families, child life specialists and all those in between, each share a common goal that unites them as one. The campaign theme also reminds all that working together to change the future of children’s health does not just impact today but sparks lasting impact for the days, months and years to come.
“Every individual who joins the fight brings with them their own unique ‘why,’ that when united, allows our voices to grow louder, our strides to become longer and our goals to reach new heights,” the campaign video emphasized, highlighting the power of togetherness.
To announce the campaign, USCDM’s communications branch created a video, featuring heartfelt moments of the organization’s miracle kids at events over the years. In seeing the kids’ growth in each clip as “Stand by Me” played in the background, staff members not only reflected on the past and what they have accomplished so far, but were reminded of why they returned.
“There is a reason we are all here. There is a reason everyone gets involved,” Abby Robisch, USCDM vice president of communications, said.
As the video ended and cheers erupted through the room, the campaign was set in motion. USCDM is here for change and will work hard to make a better tomorrow for those who need it most.
USCDM is more than an organization. It’s a community of passionate leaders who bring hope and joy into children’s lives. They are stronger together, they push for progress and they are together for tomorrow.
